Designed to provide a competitive playing field for STEM-minded students, nurture interest in math and science and celebrate student achievement, the 2022 Battle of the Brains is scheduled to take place on Saturday, March 26. The deadline for applications is March 11. The competition is a project of the Germantown Education Commission

WHO: All Germantown and Houston High School students regardless of their residency, high school students who are Germantown residents, but attend a school outside of Germantown and all home-school students who reside in Germantown, only high school students are eligible to participate

WHEN: Saturday, March 26, set up 8 a.m., judging 9 a.m., awards presentation follows.
The deadline for applications is March 11.

WHERE: Houston High School, 9755 Wolf River Boulevard

AWARDS: First place $300 per student, second place $200 per student, third place $100 per student

Battle of the Brains 2017 winners

Participating students will their present their research findings to college professors who volunteer as judges for the competition. The event is open to the public.
