Germantown, Tennessee--March 9, 2022--Houston Middle School students Caroline Curry, Roos Rottink, and Zoe Umsted received honorable mention for their incredible STEM creation. Together, they innovated a new way to help the environment in the form of a car exhaust pipe purifier. Out of 56 other projects, this trio placed in the top five for the middle school division. The competition consisted of prototype judging and fielding questions from current engineers.
