Germantown, Tennessee-- March 24, 2022-- Dr. Giray, the professor from Ole Miss visited the orchestra on Friday, March 4. He talked about the music program and their wonderful scholarship opportunities for our students. He also helped them prepare for the upcoming concert festival on Friday, March 11.SGA was happy to have Mr. Terry Rogers from Germantown Municipal Council PTO and Houston High School PTSO come talk about the GMSD’s “Day on the Hill” trip to Tennessee’s Capitol. He was very influential and encouraged the students to take advantage of the opportunity to pursue a career in politics and to have their voice be heard. Thank you Mr. Rogers for taking the time to meet with us.

HHS was thrilled to welcome back Jane Yan ('18), a fourth-year cadet at the United States Military Academy at West Point to share about her experiences. Cadet Yan shared about the travel and internship opportunities afforded to her with her major, and she discussed the application process and summer opportunities with interested students.
