Germantown, Tennessee--April 20, 2022--Go Grizz! Schools across GMSD participated in the HASHTAG GRIZZ SPIRIT competition along with all of the schools in the Memphis Area. Your creativity and home team devotion was impressive. Out of many applicants, Dogwood Elementary received the cash prize for the entire MidSouth region.
"Dogwood Elementary showed its Grizz Spirit this week to celebrate our Memphis Grizzlies making the playoffs and won the local spirit contest!. Teachers decorated the hallways and our mascot Daisy even wore a Super Grizz cape," shared Joye Phipps in a media release.
