As we continue working towards the postseason for our fall sports, the Mustangs’ momentum has only gotten stronger. Varsity football took down the Bartlett Panthers on Friday night in their homecoming game, winning 24-14! Up next, the JV/F team will play Whitehaven at home tonight at 6:00pm, and the varsity Mustangs next face Arlington at home this Thursday at 7:00pm. As Coach Thomas would say, come out, be loud, be proud, and go Mustangs! Varsity volleyball defeated Arlington in a sweep, winning 3-0, and Coach Pendleton achieved her 650th win! Our Lady Mustangs took a moment to celebrate, but they are already looking ahead to what is next, as they enter into the postseason with District Finals this week. Cross Country had both JV and varsity at the Frank Horton Classic this past Saturday. Over Fall Break, JV will race at the MYA Meet at Shelby Farms, and both varsity and JV will participate in the Randolph Invitational in Huntsville, AL. Girls varsity soccer have continued to improve their record after defeating Arlington 3-1 last Tuesday night. This Thursday, they play Collierville, with JV at 5:00pm and varsity at 7:00pm.
