The BRACE isn't just any competition; it's a platform dedicated to uplifting young artists and connecting the vibrant local visual arts community. By showcasing students' masterpieces and emphasizing quality craftsmanship, the contest aims to foster a love for the arts and inspire young talent. This year, GMSD had many students recognized for their artistic talents.
"Dogwood's very own, Sarabeth Malinka, has made us exceptionally proud by clinching third place in the Briarcrest Regional Art Contest and Exhibition," said her art teacher, Ashley Luyendyk. Sarabeth's artwork is featured in this article.
