Last week, the Houston choir program embarked on a trip through Spain, immersing students in Spanish culture, food, and music. Throughout the journey, students participated in educational classes, including a choral masterclass with a prestigious Portuguese director, tapas making, Toledo sword making, and a marzipan class. They stayed in Madrid, Toledo, Cordoba, and Seville, with a highlight being a performance at the historic Cultural Center in Toledo, where the students showcased their talent and embraced the essence of Spanish heritage.
