The Germantown Municipal Council (GMC) PTO recently hosted a spectacular Lunch and Learn event, bringing together PTO leaders from across the district. With the theme "GMSD: A World of Our Own," the event featured a whimsical Willy Wonka-inspired atmosphere, complete with a chocolate fountain and vibrant décor, celebrating GMSD's innovative approach to education.
PTO volunteers had the opportunity to network with peers at job-alike tables, sharing ideas and strategies for supporting their respective schools. The event was highlighted by a special State of the District address from Superintendent Jason Manuel, who shared updates on GMSD's continued growth and success.
Participants also enjoyed a lively game of "GMSD by the Numbers," a fun and engaging quiz that tested their knowledge of district facts. Congratulations to the top five winners who demonstrated their expertise!
