The September 19th School Board Meeting began with the Celebration of Outcomes, an Oscars-style event recognizing teachers whose students ranked in the top three in the state on TCAP and EOCs. GMSD excelled in 21 of 25 tested areas, making for an exciting start.

After the celebrations, the board unanimously approved several items, including policy revisions, purchases, and a budget amendment. The Houston High Track and Field Renovation, including new home bleachers, VIP seating section and press box upgrades, was also approved!
