24-25 Student Registration

Bus Routing Information
Parent Responsibility Zone
The Parent Responsibility Zone is 1.5 miles for elementary school and 2 miles for middle school and high school. If you live within these zones, you are responsible for providing transportation for your student/students. Coordinated School Health
Coordinated School Health (CSH) works to ensure the safety and health to every family with the GMSD community. For an overview of CSH, click here.

Meet the Teacher and Orientation Nights
- Meet the Teacher at Dogwood Elementary, Farmington Elementary, Forest Hill Elementary, and Riverdale School will take place on Thursday, August 1, 2024 from 3:00pm-6:00pm.
- Houston High School will host freshman orientation on Thursday, August 1, 2024, from 12:00pm-4:00pm.

School Nutrition Information

Menu prices for the 24-25 school year:
- Breakfast for Pre-k through 12th grade is $1.60
- Lunch for Pre-k through 8th grade is $2.95
- Lunch for grades 9-12 is $3.35

MySchoolBucks
For all cafeteria services, GMSD uses MySchoolBucks. Through MySchoolBucks, parents can keep track of their students' purchases and set alerts for when the balance gets low. Click here to learn more about MySchoolBucks and get registered.

The GMSD Student Handbook is currently being updated for the upcoming 24-25 academic year. This information will be updated shortly!
24-25 Tuition
For the upcoming 2024-2025 school year, per GMSD policy #6.2061, non-resident transfer students will be required to pay tuition. For non-resident students who live in Shelby County, but outside of Germantown, the tuition amount is $521.00. This fee is non-refundable and must be paid in full as a one-time payment. Tuition fees must be paid by July 22, 2024. Tuition can be paid here.
